Constructed by James Langdon around 1874 as one of three buildings on Langdon Street envisioned as a new shopping district in the center of downtown Montpelier. This three story wood frame structure has a brick shell and features granite lintel and sill detail. Three retail storefronts include Onion River Outdoors, Roam and Langdon Street Tavern. Second and third floors are a mix of offices and four residential apartments. Originally a social club, a large third floor suite has been home to Contemporary Dance and Fitness Studio since 1973.
